While I worked as a general news reporter at The Daily Texan, I covered a wide variety of topics from faculty awards and campus recognitions to Senate Bill 15. During the summer session, my story had the most interactions on X, formally known as Twitter, and two of my stories (covering Texas Athletics and UT's identity as a public ivy) had the most clicks on the website. As the editorial intern, I got the the opportunity to write longer form journalism and cover stories about interesting Texas Exes and campus happenings. You can find my work here.

Audio/Video

At UT, I was able to explore audio and visual storytelling methods. In my audio story, I talked with Texas Wushu, a Chinese performative martial arts group, as they prepared for the Texas Revue competition. In my video story, I followed artists Maura Schaffer and Jodi Bade while they created their glow in the dark sculpture scene, with pants.
